A commitment to the next international generation
The René Cassin Foundation is an independent trust dedicated to preserving and supporting the French school in Oslo.

Preserving an intercultural space in Oslo
Through its 62-year long history of French-Norwegian collaboration, the Lycée René Cassin school in Oslo has taught several generations under the French educational curriculum.
Education in French
We believe that Oslo deserves a school that is part of a larger network of public French schools abroad, in which the main language of teaching is French.
Norwegian classes
We believe that anyone who attends the French school in Oslo also should have the opportunity to learn Norwegian. We prepare students for the Norwegian exam in secondary school as private candidates.
Preserve social diversity
In 2023, 100% of the 24 last-year students obtained the baccalaureate, many with honors. Our students come from all social environments and boroughs across the city. They represent around 40 nationalities.
